Matt Stamm is an editor, graphics artist, and the technophile behind OPS’ post-production environment. He’s been a diver and ocean advocate since childhood and began academia intending to become a marine biologist. But after learning about the threats facing our environment, he felt a pull towards media activism. He went on to create an award-winning student film about cetacean strandings, and graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a bachelor’s degree in Film and minor in Biology. He’s been involved with OPS since 2013 and has had a hand in all of the organization’s film and media projects since. Matt strives to use visual language and storytelling to expose environmental harms and inspire positive change.
