Julie & Eric

Eric and Julie tried to conceive for nearly five years. They dove into the intervention with rigor and good humor—ditching fragranced cleaning items and personal care products, prioritizing plastic free food storage, and even swapping out their beloved sparkling water drinks. Their chemical loads fell within two months, and they began to notice striking changes: weight loss, more energy, less brain fog, sleeping better, and dramatically higher fertility scores. The intervention gave language to the invisible, control over their routines, and a firm resolve to keep reducing exposure.

Eric, a university professor, became a natural advocate for sharing how the intervention transformed their lives. A couple of his inspired students worked to create plastic-free zones across the campus. Eric is now preparing for law school, hoping to transform their lived experience into public health policy change that protects other families.

AFTER THE INTERVENTION

Eric, a university professor, became a natural advocate for sharing how the intervention transformed their lives. A couple of his inspired students worked to create plastic-free zones across the campus. Eric is now preparing for law school, hoping to transform their lived experience into public health policy change that protects other families.

A few months after the intervention, Julie became pregnant. Having learned how endocrine disruptors affect a developing child, she adapted the intervention changes down to the items she placed on her registry. With the tools to understand how endocrine disruptors affect babies in utero and in early life, she had control of her growing family’s purchases and health.

In February, Eric and Julie welcomed a healthy baby boy! They remain committed to reducing exposure in their home, sharing what they have learned with others, and working towards meaningful policy change to protect people trying to conceive. Their story shows that small, practical changes can create real transformation and that families can reclaim their health one choice at a time.
